Midway Village Museum is the best institution for collecting, preserving and interpreting the history of the Rockford region by providing state-of-the-art exhibits, programs and events. We’ll engage and explore history through interactive exhibits in more than 20,000 square feet of gallery space! After that we’ll have interpreters in Victorian clothing lead us on tours in the outdoor village of 26 structures and 8 heritage gardens representing a rural community during the era of 1890-1910. In between, we’ll have a wonderful lunch and shop in the museum gift shop.
